The Roscommon County Economic Development Corporation
 
Meetings  - last Thursday of each month (except July and December) at 8:00 a.m. 

                     Roscommon County Commission Room  (unless announced change in location for special meetings)

 
Members of the Board of Directors are appointed by the Roscommon County Commission. 
Officers are elected each spring for a one-year term by the Corporation board members.

Roscommon Economic Development Corporation Committees

The following committees meet at the call of the Committee chairperson and/or the Economic Development Coordinator

Airport Committee

     Members:     Rebecca Ragan, chairperson; Bill Ancel, Jack Kramer, Al Schultz, Lois Byrd

     Tasks:          To assist in the expansion and promotion of the Roscommon County Blodgett Memorial Airport

Finance Committee

     Members:    Al Cambridge, chairperson; Fred Chidester, Lois Byrd

     Tasks:          To assist with obtaining funds through grants and other sources

                          To administer the Revolving Loan Fund

Marketing Committee

    Members:    Al Cambridge, chairperson; Ruth Clemens, Rosalie Myers, Lois Byrd

    Tasks:          To establish a marketing logo and theme

                         To monitor the Website and other publications

Executive Committee  (meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m.)

     Members:   Roy Spangler, chairperson; Rebecca Ragan, Al Cambridge, Lois Byrd

     Tasks         To establish the monthly meeting agenda

                        To represent the RCED Board between meetings

                        To maintain open communications with the County Controller and the Economic Development Coordinator

All RCED Board members may volunteer to serve on one or more committees.
